This past weekend we celebrated the Christening of beautiful baby girl, Gabriella.
A traditional christening (also known as a baptism) follows the liturgy, a prepared ceremony, which varies among different Christian religions. The ceremony ends with holy water being poured over the baby's head - sometimes the ceremony requires the child to be completely immersed in water - this rite is considered to either be a sacrament or ordinance that welcomes a
newborn into the Christian community and formally bestows a Christian
name on the child.
Here at Le Pommier Wine Estate, we send our heartfelt congratulations to Gabriella and her loving parents. We wish you a long, happy life filled with love.
Welcome to the world, Gabriella!
